Wiping tenant data

Destructive. Removes selected modules’ data and audit log entries. There is no undo.

Who this is for: Owner only — and only after a recent export and explicit sign-off.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Data.
  2. Scroll to the Wipe section.
  3. Tick the modules to wipe. The confirmation modal shows the row counts that will be deleted.
  4. Type the org slug into the confirmation field exactly as shown.
  5. Click Wipe. CartonCrew runs each deletion in a transaction; the dashboard refreshes when done.

Common issues

  • Modules listed but greyed out — they’re still in use by other modules (a Request linked to an Event linked to a Volunteer). Wipe the dependents first.
  • “Wipe” button never enables — the slug you typed doesn’t match. Compare exactly, including dashes.
