Campaign codes
A short token attached to a campaign send. Measures which campaign drove a downstream action (donation, request, signup).
Who this is for: anyone running multi-campaign measurement.
Steps
- In the composer, the Campaign code field appears under Subject.
- Auto-generated short code is filled in. You can edit it (short, alphanumeric).
- Use the code in:
- URLs in the body (e.g.
…/donate?code=spring26) - Phone-script prompts (“mention code spring26 when you call”)
- The donate / request / signup forms accept the code as a query param.

- After send, the campaign row shows uses — the running count of records that came in with this code attached.

Common issues
- Code count stuck at 0 — recipients are using a different URL or not passing the code. Confirm the URL in your body carries
?code=…. - Want to reuse a code on the next campaign — fine; the count aggregates per-code across campaigns.
