Milestones & risk

Two separate AI panels at the bottom of an entry’s page: Sign-up milestones and AI risk analysis.

Both need AI enabled for your organization. If it is off, neither card appears at all — there is no per-event toggle to turn them on.

A recruitment target curve from the go-live date to the event: how many sign-ups you should have by when.

Set a Go-live date on the entry (in Edit).
On the entry’s page, click Generate milestones on the Sign-up milestones card.

Without a go-live date the button is disabled and the card says “Set a go-live date on the event to generate a recruitment milestone plan.”

Each milestone shows On track or Behind against actual sign-ups. Regenerate replaces the plan.

Milestones are AI-generated or absent. There is no way to add a milestone by hand, no per-milestone form and no Save button. If the plan is wrong, your options are Regenerate or ignore it.

The card carries its own caveat: “AI-generated targets — guidance, not a guarantee.”

AI risk analysis

A staffing risk read across the entry’s shift dates, capacity and sign-ups. Click Run risk analysis; Re-run afterwards.

The result is one of Low risk, Medium risk, High risk or Inconclusive, with reasoning.

These four are the only values. On track, Slipping and At risk are not risk levels — the first belongs to the milestone list above, the other two do not exist.

Where the badges are

Both are on the entry’s own page. Neither appears on the Schedule list: a list row shows the entry name, date, status and shift count, and nothing about risk or milestones.

When it does not work

Neither card is there — AI is off for the organization. This is an organization-wide setting, not a per-event one.
Generate milestones is greyed out — no go-live date on the entry.
It failed — you will see “Could not generate milestones” or “Risk analysis failed”. Both use your organization’s AI key; a failure usually means the key is missing, invalid, or out of allowance.
