Plot a target sign-up curve for an event; CartonCrew flags when you’re tracking behind and AI projects whether you’ll hit your target.

Who this is for: Editor / Admin with events.manage.

Steps

  1. Open the event detail page.
  2. Click Milestones.
  3. Add target points along the timeline — e.g. “50% signed up by 1 week before”, “100% by event date”.
  4. Save.
  5. CartonCrew now shows a Risk badge on the event row: On track (green) / Slipping (yellow) / At risk (red). The badge reads from the current sign-up count vs. the projected curve.

Optional: enable AI projection. Requires the AI master toggle on (see admin → AI master toggle). With AI on, the Risk view shows a forecasted final headcount based on the current rate of sign-ups vs. the milestone curve.

Common issues

  • No badge appears — milestones are empty. Add at least two.
  • Forecast says “AI unavailable” — master AI toggle is off OR the API key is missing in Settings → AI.
  • Always At risk even with full signup — milestone schedule is too aggressive for the actual event lead time; relax the early milestones.
