Schedule wizard

Generate a batch of shifts in one click — useful when an event repeats the same shifts across days.

Who this is for: Editor / Admin with events.manage.

Steps

1. On the event detail page, click Schedule wizard.
2. Pick:
   • Days — which days to populate (e.g. Sat + Sun of next 3 weekends).
   • Time blocks — e.g. 9–12, 12–3, 3–6.
   • Roles — one or many; the wizard generates one shift per role per time block per day.
   • Capacity per shift.
3. Click Preview. The wizard lists every shift it will create.
4. Generate. Shifts appear in the event detail; edit individually after.

What you’ll see

Common issues

• Wizard generated too many shifts — undo isn’t atomic; multi-select all the unwanted ones in the event list and Delete.
• One shift differs from the rest — generate the bulk, then edit the outlier directly.
