For supporters

Task guides for the people an organization serves: donors, volunteers signing up for a shift, people asking for help, and anyone sending the organization a message. Everything here happens on the organization’s public website, and none of it needs an account.

Two pages are for people the organization has given an account (staff, board members, invited volunteers):

What a supporter can and cannot do

Each organization chooses which of these it offers. If a link is not in the menu at the top of the organization’s website, that organization does not offer it there. Donate, Requests and Contact each appear only when the organization has turned that part on, and an event sign-up link only works while the organization runs events.

A supporter can give, sign up, cancel their own sign-up, ask for help, and send a message. Everything else is done by the organization’s own staff in their admin application, which supporters do not have access to: changing the website, seeing other people’s gifts or sign-ups, approving or updating a request, issuing a refund or receipt, and moving someone to a different shift. For any of those, contact the organization.
