Extensions
CartonCrew is modular. Extensions are the modules your organization can have — Website, Email Campaigns, Organization Insights, Events and so on. They are listed, and switched on and off, on one screen: Settings → Extensions.
Who this is for: everyone can read the catalog, but only the Owner or an Admin can switch an extension on or off; deleting an extension’s data is the Owner’s alone. Anyone but the Owner sees “The Owner or an Admin can enable or disable self-serve extensions; deleting an extension’s data is Owner only.” at the top of the tab, and an Editor or Viewer sees “Ask the owner to enable this extension.” on each card instead of a button.
Three kinds of card
- Self-serve: an Owner clicks Enable on the card, and Disable to turn it off again. The server still checks your plan when you click: an extension your plan does not include is refused with a message saying why.
- Set up by CartonCrew: these are delivered by ChAImp rather than switched on in the app. Until then an Owner or Admin sees a Request button on the card, which asks ChAImp to scope and quote it. Once it is on, the card reads “Enabled for this organization. Contact support to make changes.”
- Already on: an On badge beside the name.
