Install as an app

CartonCrew is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it to your phone’s home screen or your desktop and launch it like a native app — no app store needed.

Who this is for: anyone who uses CartonCrew, especially on a phone.

Install on mobile

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

1. Open CartonCrew in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Confirm. CartonCrew now appears as an icon on your home screen.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open CartonCrew in Chrome.
2. Tap the ⋮ menu.
3. Tap Install app (or Add to Home Screen).
4. Confirm. CartonCrew is added to your home screen and app drawer.

Once installed, CartonCrew opens full-screen in portrait, without the browser address bar.

Install on desktop

In Chrome or Edge, look for the Install icon in the address bar (or open the browser menu and choose Install CartonCrew). The app then opens in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar or dock.

Great for “Snap a receipt”

The installed app is especially handy for capturing expenses on the go. From the expense capture screen, tap 📷 Take photo to open your camera, snap the receipt, and CartonCrew reads the vendor, date, and amount for you to confirm. You can also upload an existing image or PDF, or enter the details manually.

Because it launches straight from your home screen with the camera one tap away, the installed app makes on-the-spot receipt capture quick during events or while you’re out buying supplies.

Works on flaky networks

CartonCrew caches its app shell when installed, so it still launches and loads quickly even on a weak or intermittent connection. Saving data (like submitting a receipt) still needs a connection — if a save hits a network hiccup, your photo and entries are kept so you can simply tap the action again.
