Configuring your site

End-to-end build of your public site: home, about, programs, donate, contact, footer — and publish each.

Who this is for: Editor / Admin / Owner with website.manage.

Steps

  1. Open the Website module.
  2. Pick a section tab (Home / About / Programs / Donate / Contact / Footer).
  3. Edit the fields. On wide screens, the right pane shows a live preview that updates as you type — see Live preview.
  4. Save.
  5. Toggle Published on the section to make it visible to the public. (You can save edits without publishing.)
  6. Repeat across the six sections.
  7. For the Footer, fill the legal info + (optionally) tick Show 501(c)(3) tax disclosure — see the boilerplate render under the checkbox.
  8. View site ↗ at the top opens your tenant’s public site in a new tab.

What you’ll see

Interactive demo — coming soonConfigure the Website CMSRecorder brief: D3 — Configure Website CMS end-to-end. Home headline + hero → side-by-side preview update → toggle Footer tax disclosure → publish each page.

Common issues

  • “View site” still shows old content — the section is saved but not Published. Toggle Published and save.
  • Hero image looks weird — try Fit whole image vs Fill area in the per-image dropdown.
  • Edits don’t appear in preview — refresh the editor; if the pane is hidden, you’re below the xl breakpoint (1280px). Resize the window or use Open in new tab.
